About the role
Responsibilities
- Prospect, identify and onboard new corporate borrowing relationships in the Middle Market segment
- Develop client value propositions, acquisition strategies and competition analysis
- Originate and deliver Mashreq products to corporates with annual revenue AED 250MM to AED 1BN
- Own the full credit process from proposal to approval, documentation and onboarding
- Achieve targets for new-to-bank clients, profitability, deposits, income and cross-selling
- Build a network of business introducers and referral partners
- Coordinate with product managers and risk specialists to create cross-sell opportunities
Requirements
- At least 8 years of banking experience in business development and credit or relationship management
- At least 2 years in a similar position in the UAE
- Sound credit analytical skills and knowledge of corporate banking products
- Strong networking, leadership and management skills
- Commercial orientation with strong interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office
Preferred Qualifications
- University degree in business, finance or a related discipline
