Director of People

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing to offers, onboarding, and external recruitment partnerships
• Keep People operations running: contracts, visas, probation, policies, HR systems, benefits administration and offboarding
• Serve as trusted advisor to leadership on organizational design, workforce planning and employee relations
• Lead performance management, talent development, career progression and promotion cycles
• Own compensation benchmarking, salary reviews and benefits with Finance and leadership
• Champion CODE values and shape engagement, recognition and workplace experience, including the Dubai office
• Help drive integration with Pinewood.AI, guiding colleagues through organizational change
• Use AI and automation to streamline People processes and own the People technology ecosystem

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive People/HR experience, ideally in technology, SaaS or high-growth environments
• Hands-on experience across recruitment, People operations, talent management and employee relations
• Ability to partner with senior leadership and navigate complex people challenges
• Experience guiding teams through organizational change and ambiguity
• Expertise in compensation, benefits, performance management and employment practices; UAE experience a strong advantage
• Experience supporting internationally distributed teams across diverse cultures and markets
• Digital fluency and practical use of AI, automation and HR technology
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM or equivalent)
