About the role
Responsibilities
- Co-lead development and execution of integrated publication strategies across all disease areas and development programs
- Drive alignment between publication plans and broader scientific communication objectives
- Manage publication agencies and external publication partners
- Oversee publication development from concept through submission and dissemination
- Partner with clinical development, biostatistics, regulatory affairs, safety, legal, and research teams
- Lead publication operations infrastructure including tracking systems, dashboards, and governance workflows
- Ensure adherence to ICMJE guidelines, GPP standards, authorship policies, and compliance standards
- Develop and maintain scientific narratives and communication platforms across disease states
- Build and operationalize Medical Information capabilities, including standard response documents, scientific exchange materials, and inquiry intake processes
- Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance reporting requirements and adverse event identification procedures
Requirements
- Strategic leadership experience in Scientific Communications and Medical Affairs
- Expertise in publication strategy, governance, and medical information operations
- Ability to transform scientific evidence into impactful publications, congress presentations, and medical education resources
- Experience managing publication agencies and external partners
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards (ICMJE, GPP, Sunshine requirements)
