Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to the Site Start-up (SSU) department
• Contribute to the strategy and direction of SSU implementation and expansion
• Manage SSU project delivery, communication, and human resources
• Oversee site start-up activities including IRB/EC/CA submissions and site contracts
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Project Management, and Business Development
• Develop, measure, and report SSU KPIs and lead continuous improvement
• Manage escalations and remediation of SSU concerns
• Support SSU team career development and succession planning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field
• Minimum 12 years in clinical research with extensive Site Start-up experience
• Expert knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and clinical development processes
• Proven leadership and resource management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical software (CTMS, eTMF, EDC)
• Strong strategic planning, risk management, and change management skills
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale or highly complex SSU programs
• Experience in global or regional functional leadership roles
