Director.Corporate Origination and Business Development-UAE.Corporate & Investment Banking Group

Responsibilities

• Prospect, identify, and onboard new-to-bank borrowing corporate relationships within Large Corporates and Middle Market segments
• Develop proposition strategy, competition analysis, and service delivery models
• Act as an ambassador for Mashreq Bank to develop the bank's profile in the local business community
• Structure client requirements to ensure optimum Return on Risk Capital performance
• Own the entire credit process from proposal preparation to onboarding
• Achieve business targets for profitability, deposits growth, and cross-selling
• Build a network of business introducers in the local professional community
• Coordinate with business owners and product managers to create cross-sell opportunities
• Monitor deal flows and prepare timely business reports

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant banking experience in business development, credit, and relationship management
• Minimum of 2 years in a similar position within the UAE
• University level education, preferably in business, finance, or a related discipline
• Strong credit analytical skills and profound knowledge of corporate banking products
• Strong networking, leadership, and management skills
• Strong commercial orientation and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and web analytics
• Innovative, results-oriented, and a self-starter with a high energy level
• Natural team player with an adaptable approach
