District Representative

Responsibilities

• Generate and execute sales plans in existing customer base and assigned competitive accounts to meet profit goals
• Recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans to customers to maintain and grow sales
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including plant or facility executives
• Provide technical support to identify and resolve customer challenges
• Perform system analysis and interpret data to provide written recommendations for optimal operations
• Sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technology to promote long-term business relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Three years of technical sales or field sales support experience
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, or industrial engineering or life sciences (biology, chemistry)
• Experience in water treatment or specialty chemical industry
• Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, wastewater treatment systems, and swimming pools
