About the role
About the Company
Keller Postman represents a broad array of clients in class and mass actions, individual arbitrations, and multidistrict litigation matters at the trial and appellate levels in federal and state courts. The firm pursues high-profile mass tort, antitrust, privacy, product liability, employment, and consumer-rights cases.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys and paralegals in tracking litigation deadlines
- Perform date calculations applying jurisdictional rules
- Maintain calendaring databases and update court rule sets
- Research and interpret state and federal court rules
- Prepare and electronically file time-sensitive legal documents
- Manage attorney admissions, renewals, and pro hac vice admissions
- Organize and maintain attorney account credentials for CM/ECF and Odyssey
- Provide quality control for all docket entries and status reports
- Coordinate with other departments to streamline legal processes
Requirements
- 2+ years of litigation docketing experience at a law firm
- Knowledge of state and federal court processes (e.g., IL, PA, DE, TX, FL, CA)
- Knowledge of CM/ECF and state filing systems like Odyssey
- Ability to work overtime on nights and weekends as needed
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to function under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint)
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with Court Alert or similar docketing platforms
