About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of small to medium-sized accounts and drive revenue growth
- Re-engage dormant accounts and lead first-line prospecting across industries
- Run the inside sales process from lead generation through conversion
- Respond to inbound inquiries the same day and maintain customer relationships
- Maintain accurate CRM records and forecast pipeline health
- Participate in S&OP processes and collaborate with business development, R&D and marketing
Requirements
- 2+ years in inside sales or business development with a record of meeting targets
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, chemistry or biology preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in sales techniques, prospecting and closing deals
- Proficiency in CRM and sales automation tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of chemical industry experience
- Experience with remote or hybrid work environments
- Understanding of business and finance terminology
