Engineering Lecturer

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the development of course material
• Conducting lectures, tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, and student field excursions
• Unit coordination including assignment moderation
• Marking and Assessment Invigilation
• Consultation with Students
• Undertaking administrative functions as required
• Maintaining an active research portfolio
• Overseeing the delivery of the Engineering program
• Providing academic advising and mentorship to students
• Developing and maintaining partnerships with industry and community organizations

Requirements

• Earned PhD in Mechanical Engineering or in closely related field (or currently in final stage)
• 3–5 years of teaching experience in higher education
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, ANSYS, SolidWorks, MATLAB, and DFM-related applications
• Solid track record in academic publishing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
