About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the American curriculum standards
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment for student exploration
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents
- Implement individualized strategies to support diverse learning needs
- Foster a collaborative and respectful classroom culture
- Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and collaborative planning
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and achievements
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices into lessons
- Support extracurricular activities and school events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Experience with the American curriculum is ideal
- Proficiency in English (native or near-native level preferred)
