About the role
Responsibilities
- Translate clinical research, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance documents from English to Spanish LatAm
- Perform Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) on machine-translated safety content
- Perform Copy Edit and translation review for accuracy, tone, and consistency
- Meet strict turnaround times on time-sensitive content
- Work within client CAT tool environments (XTM/Phrase) and use Microsoft Word Track Changes
Requirements
- Native proficiency in Mexican Spanish (ESMX)
- Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of two years practical translation experience specifically in life sciences (clinical trials and pharmacovigilance)
- Familiarity with CAT tools such as XTM or Phrase
- Ability to complete a quality assessment as part of onboarding
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Medicine, Biology, Biochemistry, Clinical Research, or Philology
- In-house industry experience at a CRO or pharmaceutical company
