Job description
Responsibilities
- Drive adoption of AI-powered search, Observability, and Security solutions within new Mid-Market accounts
- Act as a trusted advisor to help customers transform data into actionable insights
- Position Elastic as the Search AI platform by discussing cloud economics and modern data architectures
- Develop comprehensive business plans to drive territory growth
- Manage complex sales cycles and perform deep discovery using MEDDPICC
- Partner with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, and Marketing to accelerate deals
Requirements
- Proven track record in SaaS subscription sales for large strategic, enterprise, or Public Sector accounts
- Experience acquiring new logos and managing the full sales cycle
- Ability to craft value-based narratives linking technical capabilities to business outcomes
- Proficiency in executive negotiation and closing high-stakes contracts
- Technical fluency in security, observability, vector/traditional search, and cloud cost optimization
- Strong relationship building skills with both developers and executive leadership
- Experience with accurate sales forecasting and CRM management
- An AI-driven mindset and appreciation for the Open-Source model
