About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive net-new enterprise business and logo acquisition across the South African territory
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas by developing regional sales plans
- Partner with marketing teams to drive pipeline and revenue growth
- Act as a trusted advisor to prospective customers regarding their IT roadmaps
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close
- Support newly acquired customers through the onboarding process
Requirements
- 7+ years of field sales experience, preferably in data or cloud technology
- 5+ years of experience generating net-new business within the South African market
- Proven track record of achieving $1M+ ARR per year
- Strong ability to independently prospect and close new client relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing MEDDPICC
- Experience selling software or cloud-based applications to enterprise customers
- Industry-specific domain expertise
