About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist the Events Manager in planning and delivering in-person and virtual events
- Manage event budgets and work with Finance on LPO and payment processes
- Negotiate with vendors for cost-efficient event services
- Coordinate with Design, Branding, PR, Communications and Marketing teams on event deliverables
- Prepare event and speaker briefs and manage speaker liaison
- Manage onsite event logistics and event materials requests
- Source and assess venues across the region and build venue relationships
- Organise firm photo shoots
- Produce lessons learnt documents after each event
Requirements
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Minimum 3 years of event planning and delivery experience
- Knowledge of event management activities
- Experience working at in-person events
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Ability to multitask and work under tight timeframes
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Arabic
- Exposure to marketing, communications or PR
- Experience in the professional services industry
- Experience delivering virtual events on virtual platforms
