Job description

Responsibilities

  • Shape the program's cross-functional vision, strategic context, and lifecycle plan (LCP) for current and future business opportunities
  • Partner with Program Managers and SMEs to build internal ways of working for data-driven decision making
  • Act as the single point of accountability in a cross-functional team to ensure timely delivery of milestones
  • Oversee integration across the organization to ensure optimal program execution
  • Foster alignment across Commercial, Development, and Regulatory teams
  • Facilitate clear decision-making by addressing high-impact issues and co-creating solutions
  • Frame program needs and present recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
  • Manage day-to-day program operations and ensure deliverables remain on track
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans while ensuring financial stewardship

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline; advanced degree (PhD, MD, or MBA) highly desirable
  • 15+ years of bio-pharmaceutical industry experience
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Lifecycle Leader or Program Team Leader in biotech/pharma
  • Strong knowledge of the drug development process and commercial launch experience
  • Proven experience working on program strategy teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong leadership skills in a matrix organization with a track record of conflict resolution
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clinical scientists, biologists, manufacturing experts, and regulatory colleagues
  • High degree of organizational awareness and experience in change management
  • Significant depth of experience across various phases of drug development
