Facilities Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of school buildings, equipment, and grounds
• Implement preventative maintenance programs for MEP systems
• Supervise in-house maintenance staff and external contractors
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers
• Prepare and manage the facilities department annual budget
• Oversee transportation services and school bus fleet
• Monitor utility consumption and cost control

Requirements

• Diploma in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or IWFM
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management
• Proven experience managing budgets and contractors
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems
• Familiarity with local health and safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient practices
