F&B Shift Leader

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operations in the assigned department and flawless service execution
• Organize and delegate tasks in preparation for hotel functions and events
• Create reports for daily events and maintain cleanliness of work areas
• Communicate dietary needs, preferences, and special requests to the kitchen
• Inspect cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silver
• Train, maintain, and enforce Marriott service standards
• Manage inventory of supplies, food, and liquor using FIFO methods
• Monitor manpower hours to ensure maximum productivity
• Coordinate with other departments to exceed guest expectations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position within a five-star hotel
• High school diploma or GED
• 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
• Proficiency in MS Office and Symphony systems
• Ability to lift at least 20 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
• Strong leadership, training, and motivating skills
• Fluency in Chinese, Russian, or Arabic
