About the role
Responsibilities
- Receiving, investigating, and reporting suspicious internal transactions to the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) and relevant regulators
- Conducting thorough investigations into flagged transactions or activities
- Contributing to regular, organization-wide AML risk assessments
- Acting as the main point of contact for regulatory authorities regarding AML matters
- Maintaining and updating AML policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Providing regular reports on the effectiveness of the AML program to senior management and the Board
- Assisting in delivering AML training and awareness initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 PQE
- Proven AML experience, particularly in SAR/STR reporting and investigations
- Comprehensive knowledge of AML regulations and financial crime typologies
- CAMS Certified
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
