About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Medical Science Liaisons
- Develop and execute field medical strategy across the neurometabolic portfolio
- Oversee KOL identification, mapping and engagement
- Partner with Clinical Development, Commercial, Market Access and HEOR
- Ensure compliant field insight collection and communication
- Manage field medical budgets and resource allocation
Requirements
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD or equivalent)
- 10+ years pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience
- 7+ years Medical Affairs or Field Medical experience
- 5+ years people leadership managing field medical teams
- Strong understanding of healthcare compliance regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in rare disease, neurology or metabolic therapeutic areas
- Experience supporting product launches
- Experience with CRM and insight management systems
- Experience in a global or matrixed organization
Benefits
- Base compensation range $250,000 - $270,000
