Finance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Own Ziina's full set of reconciliations across bank, GL, product ledger, and gateways, ensuring zero unexplained money variances at month-end
• Run and monitor the reconciliation engine, investigating breaks to root cause and partnering with Ops, Product, and Engineering for resolution
• Automate manual reconciliations and define exception logic
• Partner with Accounting Manager to ensure month-end close is on track and audit-ready
• Build and own the Finance dashboard for leadership (cash, burn, runway, and managerial P&L) and automate the weekly burn tracker
• Manage data pipelines feeding payroll, Ops, bank, and gateway data into the ERP
• Play a key role in ERP migration and rollout of new Finance tools
• Document Finance systems, integrations, and data flows

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a data-focused role, ideally in fintech, banking, or payments
• Ability to write solid SQL independently to answer Finance questions
• Investigative mindset with a ability to dig into numbers and cross-check sources
• Experience building or maintaining Finance reports, trackers, or dashboards
• Ability to spot inefficiency and automate it
• Strong written communication skills for summarizing findings
• Ability to build strong working relationships across teams (Ops and Engineering)
• Based in, or open to relocating to the UAE

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with payment flows (gateways, settlements, wallets, chargebacks)
• Track record of turning manual processes into automated ones
• Experience partnering with Engineering or Product on data/systems projects
• Proficiency with BI tools like Metabase, Looker, or Mode
• Experience with month-end close, ERP systems, or ERP migrations
