About the role
Responsibilities
- Confirm purchase orders have been goods receipted
- Match invoices and purchase orders
- Record invoices on the register and save digital copies
- Follow up with Purchase Order creators and resolve workflow issues
- Process employee expense claims bi-weekly
- Perform supplier reconciliation, payments, and allocation
- Upload bank payments and obtain necessary approvals
- Handle petty cash posting and reconciliation
- Support internal and external audits by providing AP documentation
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements in payment procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or commerce
- 0-1 years of experience in accounts payable
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must be a UAE national with family book
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
