Finance Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Own operational reconciliations matching product ledger, gateways, acquirers and settlements
• Run the reconciliation engine and investigate breaks to root cause
• Define exception logic for match, flag or escalation outcomes
• Automate manual reconciliations and Finance processes using SQL and the data platform
• Build and own the Finance dashboard for cash, burn, runway and managerial P&L
• Create shared definitions for revenue, TPV, rebates and chargebacks
• Ensure reconciled data flows into month-end close and the new ERP

Requirements

• 3-5 years in data analyst, analytics, BI or operations analytics roles
• Strong daily SQL: complex joins, window functions, multi-source reconciliation
• Investigative mindset and ability to explain how numbers were produced
• Experience building reports, data models or dashboards others rely on
• Clear written communication of problem, impact and ask

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with payment flows, settlements, refunds and chargebacks
• Experience building or running a reconciliation or matching process
• Python or similar scripting for automation
• Metabase, Looker, Mode or similar BI tools; Snowflake or cloud data warehouse
• Track record of automating manual processes
• Exposure to month-end close, ERP systems or ERP migration
