About the role
Responsibilities
- Own UAE financial reporting, prudential and regulatory obligations
- Monitor regulatory capital, liquidity and safeguarding of client funds
- Lead monthly close, financial controls and annual statutory audit under IFRS
- Prepare financial performance and cash commentary for local board packs
- Oversee UAE Corporate Tax and VAT compliance
- Support new UAE product launches in reporting and regulatory submissions
Requirements
- Professional finance or accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, CFA)
- 8+ years finance experience, including senior finance function
- Working knowledge of IFRS and UAE prudential reporting for payment providers
- Direct experience engaging with a financial regulator, ideally the CBUAE
- Financial controlling experience in a growing organisation
Preferred Qualifications
- Financial services, payments or regulated environment experience
- Big Four experience
