About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee project accounting and off-plan revenue recognition under IFRS 15
- Manage project escrow accounts and RERA/DLD compliance
- Lead project cost control, cost-to-complete reviews and profitability reporting
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations in SAP (FI/CO)
- Deliver management accounts, financial statements and cash flow forecasts
- Manage budgeting, VAT and corporate tax compliance and external audits
- Lead and develop the finance team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with ACCA, CA, CPA or CMA
- Minimum 8 years of finance experience, at least 4 with a UAE real estate developer
- Hands-on IFRS 15 and RERA/DLD escrow experience
- Strong SAP (FI/CO) expertise and multi-entity consolidation
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, UAE VAT and corporate tax
- Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP/ERP implementation or migration experience
- Coordination with escrow banks and external audits
