About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing activities including accruals, prepayments, and journal adjustments
- Conduct balance sheet, intercompany, bank, and petty cash reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports and schedules for management review
- Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with IFRS standards
- Manage VAT submissions and refunds
- Load and review payments and receipts while supporting cash flow management
- Liaise with AP, AR, operations, and banks to resolve finance-related matters
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a logistics environment
- Strong Excel and Financial Modelling skills
- Experience with integrated ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or CA
