Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyse product and commercial performance, linking revenue, direct costs and margins to operational drivers
• Reconcile billing, operational dashboards and accounting data, investigating discrepancies
• Compare actuals with budgets, forecasts and prior periods, explaining material variances
• Work with accountants to verify cost completeness, accruals, allocations and expense timing
• Analyse product cost drivers, unit costs and profitability
• Build and improve recurring reports and dashboards, reducing manual data collection
• Prepare management presentations and ad hoc analysis, strengthening reporting controls

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
• 4+ years in financial audit, financial reporting, FP&A or commercial finance
• Strong accounting knowledge across P&L, balance sheet and accruals
• Advanced Excel and large dataset or reconciliation experience
• Investigative mindset and attention to detail
• Fluent English

Preferred Qualifications

• Big Four audit experience
• Product or commercial finance experience in tech
• NetSuite or another major ERP, BI tools, Power Query or SQL
• ACCA Financial Reporting or DipIFR
