About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead financial control, accounting and financial reporting
- Manage banking relationships, treasury operations and cash management
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management
- Work with external auditors, banks and professional advisors
- Report directly to Senior Management / Group Management
Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification: CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent
- Arabic-speaking with excellent financial and communication skills
- Strong experience in financial control, accounting and corporate finance
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in internal audit, internal controls or risk management
- Experience in a group, holding company or diversified business environment
