About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage accounting operations for several companies across different jurisdictions
- Build financial controlling processes from scratch and continuously refine them as the business grows
- Design, implement, and continuously improve internal financial control procedures
- Manage monthly financial reporting
- Manage and support external audits
- Respond to finance-related requests from the CEO / Head of Finance
- Effectively manage external consultants and legal advisors
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial control, or treasury
- Proficiency with IFRS standards
- Big-4 experience is highly preferred
- Proven experience building financial controlling processes from the ground up
- Deep technical knowledge of accounting principles
- ACCA qualification or near completion is an advantage
- English proficiency (Upper-Intermediate or higher)
- Russian proficiency (Upper-Intermediate or higher)
