Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations of the hotel
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Lead annual budget preparation and periodic forecasting
• Establish and maintain effective financial controls and procedures
• Monitor hotel revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow
• Oversee daily revenue audit and cost control for food and beverage
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure UAE VAT compliance
• Lead, supervise, and develop the Finance team
• Partner with the General Manager to improve hotel profitability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred
• 5-8 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably in hospitality
• Strong knowledge of hotel accounting, budgeting, and cost control
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and financial regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial/accounting systems
