About the role
Responsibilities
- Support collections efforts and apply customer payments to accounts
- Prepare regular reports on payment status and cash reconciliations
- Support month-end close activities and reconcile Accounts Receivable
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address payment inquiries
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Investigate and respond to payment questions and Zendesk tickets
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in the order-to-cash cycle
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with financial or billing software like Salesforce, Sage Intacct, Zuora, or Zendesk is a plus
- Experience with or exposure to AI-powered tools is a plus
