Financial Reporting Manager

Responsibilities

• Run monthly close to 3rd calendar day, owning checklist, cut-off, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare annual IFRS financial statements and disclosure notes for each entity
• Produce monthly management packs and explain variances to management and the Board
• Act as day-to-day lead for the external audit, managing PBC list and driving sign-off
• Coordinate internal audit requests and track remediation of findings
• Draft accounting position papers and assess impact of new standards (IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16)
• Manage group consolidation, eliminations, currency translation and intercompany reconciliations
• Own key financial controls, segregation of duties and ERP access
• Prepare VAT returns, support Corporate Tax and Pillar Two, and CBUAE regulatory inputs
• Act as finance key user for Oracle Fusion and drive close automation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent
• 8+ years of accounting experience including financial close, IFRS reporting and consolidation
• At least 3 years in a controllership or financial reporting role
• Hands-on experience managing an external audit end to end
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, including IFRS 9 in a lending context
• Oracle Fusion or comparable tier-one ERP, advanced Excel, AI exposure
• Experience in banking, lending, payments or fintech
