Financial Reporting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Financial Performance Analytics and Reporting with recurring and ad hoc reporting, analysis, and presentations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports, scorecards, and Board and Executive packs
• Assist in the preparation, consolidation, and validation of the annual budget and periodic reforecasts
• Translate complex financial results into clear, concise performance narratives for executive-level presentations
• Prepare and review periodic cash call requests for University Operations and University Projects
• Perform variance, trend, ratio, and sensitivity analysis across manpower, OPEX, and CAPEX

Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, FP&A, or financial performance analytics
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, and Power Query
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and think-cell for executive-grade charts
• English working proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree or professional qualification (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Experience with Oracle EPM (EPBCS/PBCS)
• Experience with enterprise analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Knowledge of SQL or equivalent data querying capability
• Exposure to AI, automation, or advanced analytics applied to FP&A processes
