Forward Deployed Agile Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with clients to understand objectives, workflows and operational constraints
• Design and build AI-enabled applications, agentic workflows, APIs, data pipelines and full-stack products
• Engineer harnesses around AI models: prompts, tools, context, permissions, observability and feedback
• Build agent loops and graph-based orchestration coordinating models, tools and human approvals
• Create evaluation frameworks measuring accuracy, reliability, safety, latency and cost
• Integrate solutions with client systems, enterprise data sources and cloud platforms
• Establish engineering practices including automated testing, documentation, security and CI/CD

Requirements

• Professional experience building and deploying production-grade software, ideally AI-powered or agentic
• Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript or similar languages
• Practical understanding of harness engineering and agent loops
• Experience designing evaluation systems for AI applications
• Strong knowledge of APIs, distributed systems, databases and cloud infrastructure
• Experience collaborating directly with customers or cross-functional teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agent frameworks, RAG, vector search and model-routing strategies
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code and CI/CD
• Experience in consulting, professional services or customer-facing technical roles
