Forward Deployed Engineer, Audio

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions to transform raw audio into organized, ready-to-sell datasets
• Build prototypes and phase them into reliable production systems
• Manage customer engagements from feasibility through post-delivery support
• Translate customer model-development goals into executable technical plans
• Identify recurring patterns to build shared cross-vertical platform capabilities
• Build technical playbooks and quality standards for the audio vertical

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an engineer with customer exposure
• Experience working directly with media data (audio preferred)
• Experience building and operating systems that process or deliver data at scale
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements and communicate trade-offs
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of technical implementations
• Comfort with the intensity and pace of a fast-moving environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at an early-stage company or startup
• Hands-on experience with Python
• Experience with search, vector embeddings, or semantic retrieval
• Experience with AWS, Dagster, Databricks, or Vercel
• Experience with audio processing, speech ML, transcription, or diarization
