About the role
Responsibilities
- Own customer engagements end-to-end from feasibility to post-delivery support
- Translate customer model-development goals into executable technical plans
- Build tooling to turn raw footage into searchable, high-quality datasets
- Identify recurring patterns in customer requests to build reusable platform capabilities
- Develop technical playbooks and quality standards for the video vertical
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an engineer with customer exposure
- Experience working directly with media data, specifically video
- Experience building and operating systems that process or deliver data at scale
- Ability to translate ambiguous requirements and communicate technical trade-offs
- Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of technical implementations
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with video processing (codecs, transcoding, ffmpeg)
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with search, vector embeddings, or semantic retrieval
- Experience evaluating or deploying vision-language models
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Databricks, Dagster, Vercel)
