About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the shared CV platform end-to-end including camera ingestion, detection, tracking, OCR, and classification
- Raise accuracy on sports models with real users
- Architect the second industry's deployment on the same stack
- Manage model selection, training strategy, and annotation operations
- Provide technical leadership for the engineering team
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production-ready computer vision systems
- Proficiency in Python and PyTorch
- Hands-on experience with modern detection and tracking (YOLO family, ByteTrack/DeepSORT)
- Experience with video pipelines (RTSP/IP cameras, ffmpeg)
- Experience building datasets and running annotation operations
- Experience fine-tuning open-source models and implementing annotation-review loops
- Ownership temperament and ability to work with vague operational goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with OCR, action recognition, or pose estimation in production
- Background in sports, retail, or industrial camera analytics
- Experience with edge deployment (Jetson or similar)
- Literacy in camera and IoT hardware (PoE networking, ONVIF/RTSP, NVRs)
About the Company
Our client provides AI match analysis for youth football using fixed cameras to detect events, track players, and read jersey numbers. The platform is currently in a pilot academy in Dubai and is expanding into a second industry.
