FP&A Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the company operating model and rolling forecast for revenue, headcount, operating expenses, and cash
• Lead the annual budget and regular reforecast process with department leaders
• Produce monthly budget vs actuals reporting and variance analysis
• Build and maintain SaaS metrics including ARR, MRR, churn, retention, CAC, LTV, and gross margin
• Model pricing, packaging, and new product scenarios
• Track and forecast cost structures including hosting and infrastructure spend
• Prepare financial materials for board meetings and investor updates
• Partner with accounting to ensure model accuracy and improve data systems
• Perform ad hoc analysis for leadership on hiring plans and vendor decisions

Requirements

• Five or more years in FP&A, specifically within a subscription software or SaaS company
• Ability to build a three-statement operating model from scratch
• Fluency in Excel and Google Sheets
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and their connection to cash
• Proficiency in accounting principles, including revenue recognition and accruals
• Ability to work independently and provide recommendations with analysis
• Experience extracting data from Stripe, general ledgers, CRMs, and product databases
• Integration of AI tools into professional workflows for automation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience modeling pricing changes or new product launches for subscription businesses
• Experience in creator, community, or marketplace business models
• Experience as the first or only FP&A hire building functions from scratch
• Proficiency in SQL
