Fractional Research Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and guidance to clients on investment research frameworks and methodologies
• Design manager due diligence frameworks and standardized assessment criteria
• Build financial modeling templates including DCF, comparable company analysis, and LBO models
• Establish research documentation standards for investment memos and due diligence summaries
• Develop performance monitoring and benchmarking systems for portfolio tracking
• Train investment teams on research best practices and analytical techniques
• Build research infrastructure and knowledge management systems
• Support special projects including methodology enhancements and technology platform evaluations

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• CFA designation
• 8+ years of specific research experience
• 5-8 years of investment experience preferred
• Strong financial acumen and valuation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar Direct, or BlackRock Aladdin
• Ability to distill research into investable theses and written reports
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Advanced Degree in Accounting, Financial, Mathematical, or Quantitative Analysis
• CFP or other industry designations
