About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform Punjabi translation review and quality assurance tasks
- Copy-edit and run linguistic checks for accuracy, consistency and style
- Give feedback to translators and freelancers to improve quality
- Maintain glossaries, style guides and work instructions
- Respond to linguistic queries from translators and project managers
- Support onboarding and training of new linguists when required
- Help develop review and quality processes
- Meet quality and productivity KPIs
Requirements
- University degree in translation, applied languages or linguistics, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in translation, review or localization
- Native Punjabi and fluent English, written and spoken
- Experience with CAT tools such as XTM, SDL Studio, MateCat and JIRA
- Strong attention to detail and editing skills
- Clear, constructive feedback and strong communication
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a virtual global team
