Responsibilities
This is a talent community portal for freelance specialists interested in future opportunities, including:
- Subtitle Translators: Adapting scripts and dialogue with cultural nuance
- QCers: Reviewing subtitles for flawless, audience-ready quality
- SDH Linguists: Creating accessible subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- Template Linguists: Crafting high-quality subtitle templates for global localization
Requirements
- Native proficiency of the target language
- Strong command of the source language
- Experience in localization QC, audiovisual translation, or subtitling
- Experience with subtitle editing software and web/cloud technology
- Deep understanding of closed captioning and subtitling technical challenges
- University degree or equivalent professional experience in translation
- Ability to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
