French to English Life Sciences/Pharmacovigilance Linguist

Responsibilities

• Translate pharmacovigilance and/or clinical-regulatory content from French into English
• Perform Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) on machine-translated safety content
• Perform Copy Edit review of translated/post-edited content for accuracy, tone, and consistency
• Meet strict, non-extendable turnaround times on time-sensitive safety content
• Support Transcription tasks by retyping scanned or handwritten PDFs into Word
• Work within the client's CAT tool environment (XTM)

Requirements

• Degree in translation, linguistics, or languages studies
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience translating Life Sciences documents
• Experience with XTM or similar CAT tools
• Strong English proficiency
• High daily availability for consistent capacity
• Experience translating pharmacovigilance content (SAE/AE, PSURs, SUSARs, ICSRs, DSURs, RMP) or regulatory/clinical documents preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare professional (HCP) background such as nurse or physician
• Availability to cover US business hours
• Willingness to commit to daily and/or weekend availability
