About the role
Responsibilities
- Own complex features and vertical slices end to end from technical implementation through delivery
- Develop scalable backend services using .NET Core and C#
- Build and maintain responsive, user-facing applications using React or Angular
- Design, implement, and integrate REST APIs
- Work with MySQL databases including queries, data modeling, and optimization
- Write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks and reliability issues
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Collaborate with Tech Leads, Architects, Product, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience for Intermediate candidates
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core / C#
- Experience working with MySQL or similar relational databases
- Strong experience with React or Angular
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend/frontend integration
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Experience using AI tools
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a distributed team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD
- Experience with performance optimization and monitoring
- Familiarity with modern software architecture and design patterns
- Previous experience working with distributed or nearshore engineering teams
