Responsibilities

• Scope ambiguous customer asks, prototype quickly, and iterate into stable customer deployments using Tailor’s platform
• Engage with customers alongside Forward Deployed Product Managers to understand needs and iterate on deployments
• Productize repeatable solutions, turning bespoke implementations into scalable modules for accounting, e-commerce, and logistics
• Build and ship production-grade features across the stack, including front-end UIs, backend APIs, integrations, and data models
• Work with the founding team to shape engineering standards, developer experience, and platform architecture

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack web applications in production environments
• Strong foundation in data modeling, API design, performance, scalability, and reliability
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs and external platforms
• Pragmatic approach with a bias toward outcomes and solving real-world problems
• Ability to work comfortably with ambiguity and prioritize independently
• Interest in working with customers to turn operational pain points into software

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, and React
