About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare periodical financial reporting for Institutional clients, including Net Asset Value determination
- Execute financial control elements covering assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and equity
- Complete cash, portfolio, and capital reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Review and process notices for capital calls and distributions
- Maintain contact with client operations staff, banks, custodians, and brokers
- Monitor compliance with client service agreements
- Assist with new client onboarding and fund launches
- Participate in fiscal year-end audit processes
- Liaise with internal and external parties to meet client needs
- Assist with ad hoc projects
Requirements
- University degree in accounting, finance, or economics
- Professional accounting designation (CFA, CGA, CMA, CA, or CPA)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional environment
- Experience in the financial industry or public accounting is an advantage
