About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and systematically develop a gaming community around mobile games
- Communicate with players: answer questions, handle feedback, moderate, and collect feedback
- Develop Discord, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant channels
- Create content, contests, rewards, and other community activities
- Partner with product teams to launch mechanics that transition players from in-game to community channels
- Support updates, LiveOps, and other product initiatives through player communication
- Analyze activity results and find new ways to increase engagement and retention
Requirements
- Experience in Game Community Management within gamedev or a similar functional role
- Deep understanding of gaming culture, player behavior, slang, and memes
- Ability to build and engage an active community
- Understanding of the specifics and algorithms of different platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Discord)
- Ability to create and adapt content for various social channels
- Strong English copywriting skills (primary market is USA)
- Experience with AI tools for content and communication
- Understanding of basic community/social metrics and data analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SMM
- Passion for life simulation / The Sims-like games
