About the Company

Vira Games is an independent game company specializing in the development and publishing of mobile games. Our team is a creative alliance that combines experience, creativity, drive, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Balance the game economy by configuring resource inflows and outflows and controlling currency value from tutorial to late game
  • Design progression by calculating experience, game pace, and session duration
  • Manage monetization by balancing prices for hybrid IAP + Ads models
  • Write production-ready GDDs for developers including limits, data formats, and analytics requirements
  • Conduct audits and maintain a unified knowledge base of project economics
  • Identify and eliminate vulnerabilities in game logic and balance
  • Build and maintain live economic models, including progression formulas and difficulty curves
  • Analyze playtest data and behavioral metrics to justify decisions with numbers
  • Collaborate with game design, development, and analytics teams

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an economist in mobile F2P games
  • Experience with Core and Meta cycles
  • Experience working with games in LiveOps stage
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (complex formulas, pivot tables, arrays, indexes)
  • Ability to build readable and maintainable mathematical models
  • Understanding of probability theory (Gacha, drop rates), combinatorics, and progression curves
  • Understanding of retention metrics (Retention, Session Length) and monetization metrics (LTV, ARPDAU, Conversion Rate)
  • Knowledge of SQL for independent data retrieval and analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • AI-Native Workflow: Using AI/neural networks for simulating game sessions and generating Python code
  • Advanced Python skills (Pandas/NumPy) for complex calculations
  • Experience in visual system modeling
  • Ability to forecast long-term currency surpluses or deficits (LTV 180+)
