GE Proficy Engineer/Sr Python Developer

Responsibilities

• Configure and support GE Proficy Historian in AWS cloud
• Set up SparklugB and calculation collectors
• Create, manage, and maintain raw, calculated, and writeback historian tags
• Develop Python scripts for data calculations, tag conversion, and normalization
• Implement scheduled and event-driven calculations
• Support downstream application teams via Proficy REST APIs, SDKs, and OPC interfaces
• Monitor historian health, data latency, and calculation pipelines
• Troubleshoot missing tags, calculation errors, and connectivity issues
• Maintain documentation for calculation logic, tag mapping, and integration guides

Requirements

• Proficiency in GE Proficy Historian configuration and implementation
• Strong Python development skills for data processing and automation
• Experience with AWS cloud environments
• Knowledge of SparklugB collectors and historian SDKs
• Understanding of REST APIs and OPC interfaces
• Advanced English proficiency
