About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records including ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities during audits
- Support management with financial analysis and cost-saving recommendations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years experience as a General Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA)
