General Accountant

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
• Record vendor invoices and manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Issue customer invoices and ensure proper revenue recognition
• Perform regular reconciliation of bank statements and statements of accounts
• Process employee expense claims and manage inventory accounting
• Account for tangible and intangible fixed assets, including depreciation and disposals
• Calculate cost of goods sold and perform cost accounting and analysis
• Ensure timely recognition of expenses, accruals, and provisions
• Support UAE VAT and Corporate Income Tax (CIT) compliance
• Facilitate internal and external audits by preparing documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of general accounting, bookkeeping, and IFRS standards
• Understanding of cost accounting, inventory, and fixed assets
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Income Tax regulations
• Experience with Odoo or SAP Business One is an advantage
• Fluency in both Russian and English (written and spoken)
