General Counsel

Responsibilities

• Set legal and enterprise-risk strategy and provide decision-ready advice to the CEO, founders, and board
• Own commercial contract architecture including customer agreements, DPAs, and NDAs
• Lead corporate development, strategic partnerships, and acquisitions
• Provide senior legal guidance on GDPR, UK GDPR, and US state privacy laws to ensure privacy by design
• Oversee material disputes, intellectual property exposure, and indemnity management
• Maintain corporate governance, including entity management and cross-border structures
• Build and scale the in-house legal function and manage outside counsel

Requirements

• Admitted and in good standing as a lawyer in the US, UK, or a relevant jurisdiction
• Proven experience as a senior legal decision-maker in-house
• Strong commercial and regulatory judgment within adtech, digital identity, or complex B2B software
• Ability to translate complex data-protection questions into practical product and contracting decisions
• Experience managing and developing legal teams in a distributed organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with IAB consent frameworks and digital advertising standards
• Experience integrating acquisitions across multiple jurisdictions
